After the Real match, we have 3 games left to play in La Liga, meaning we would need a 9 point gap minimal to be crowned champions.
Currently we are 7 points ahead of AM, but winning this Sunday means we would be 10 points ahead (yes, I calculate a win this Sunday)

So starting the match against Real with a 10 point lead over AM, would mean we would be crowned champions if we win the match against RM.

Are we still talking about the same match? This is confusing.
If Atletico are still within striking distance when we meet them and they win the match, its unlikely that Barca will be crowned champions against RM.
How would Atletico winning the derby increase Barcas chances of winning it early? Doesnt make much sense.

real losing on purpose to atleti would be one of the most shameful acts in sports. madrid are an elite club with a great history and a proud set of fans. roncero for example knows the league is over but he demands madrid fight it out precisely because their stature demands it.

Real will not lose on purpose, what they can do and probably wil is make things easier for atletico, especialy if they go past PSG, they can rest key players and we cant blame then since they already lost la liga title

What a difference 2 world class forwards mean for Atleti instead of one. Just imagine if they had these 2 together in those finals against Real.

We will probably see a burning Messi. Probably do anything to avoid making this a race until the end of season.

Hyped for the game.

Madrid have a long history of half-assing it in the league to boost their chances in CL. It wouldn't be about losing to Atletico on purpose.

Madrid won't lose on purpose. I'd only see them do it if it comes down to last three game matches. But if they rate Barca's changes of winning it rather high they won't risk the commotion it might stir up.

Barca may not walk the league after all, good.
They will probably win it anyways, but at least they cant rest too many players with Atletico keeping up, either way its good.
