Watching this game, I honestly can't see how any of the remaining teams in CL (us, bayern, liverpool/city) are going to be able to deal with the barrage of real's attack on their top gear. They don't have methodical build-up play, they don't play super aesthetic football. but they defend in numbers and through the center, press in midfield and defense, and have every attack in book amongst their attacking ranks.

Yeah people don't understand how much better this Real Madrid is compared to us.

Against Atletico we had 1 shot on target and that was Messi's free kick, while against Madrid the MOTM so far is Oblak.

We won't be able to stop Madrid in UCL.

Madrid is unimpressive. You just have to deal with their crosses well. This is their tactic in positional play. Bring the ball wide to Marcelo and Carvajal, and 80% of the time a cross follows.

Madrid is dominating, but Atletico had 3-4 counters where they could have scored if they were more clever.

It's the standard of a world class goalkeeping. Nothing new. It's just that the defense of Juve is horrendous.

No, its not the standard of world class goalkeeping, and fair enough, Oblak is one. But i have lost count on how many random LL gks that had the match of their lives against us, random, average gk that i cant even remember the name of.
This is not a conspiracy, the amount of chances we need to score in LL this season is absurd, CL is another story.

They are surely more impressive than us.

We didn't create shit against Atletico at Camp Nou.

Real Madrid are beatable. Barca will beat them in the CL like they did in La Liga earlier this season.

They can't stop Messi.

And yet you won without breaking a sweat, just like pretty much every game this season.
You may not even play well, but it doesnt matter when you win.

I think we did well in the first half. And in the 2nd we defended, and they only had a big chance ruled off for offside.

Barca - Atletico, and Madrid - Atletico first halves looked similar. Madrid is a bit more attacking, but also Atletico had more dangerous actions than on Camp Nou. The difference was Messi's freekick.

Easier said than done, but yes.

This is painful to watch, their 442 with Marcelo, Asensio, Lucas and Marco trying to cross is such a boring lineup but it's hard to stop it.

You are making things up as usual.

Barca had five shots on target.

How do you expect our team except Messi attack like these? Have you looked at the shot from Varane? He headed the ball in the front to shoot. Meanwhile, we have Umtiti celebrating own goal showing his badge. Can anyone really tell Alba is 10% of the player Marcelo is in attacking? Focus only on stopping Messi and you'll almost stop Barca. Focus only on stopping Ronaldo, RM will score 5 goals in 5 minutes. But it's all because of Ronaldo's off the movement and Messi doesn't move right? As I said before if we win treble it's only because of Messi and Valverde.

With our back 4 in a good day and Pique and Umtiti in top form we can do it. We can absorb what they throw at us and punish them on the break. Much like we already did in the 3-0 trashing. But we have to be in a damn great day.

Again, dont worry about CL, just tell your gk thats its just another LL match, he will then have the match of his life, and Messi scores a golazo.
