Cockyness is what killed us in La Liga last season.

Not really, it was shittyness that killed us. The home game against alaves for example we threw everything we could later but still couldn't score. We simply weren't that good any more.

Nah. Shittyness doesn't make you the best team in top games and the weakest in easy games, like we were last season in La Liga. Cockyness does. 4/6 points vs both Madrid and Atletico, with wins on Bernabeu and Calderon. That's not shittyness.

People get old, can't stop that.

Madrid should alreayd have his replacement at hands, but they don't. And if they plan on getting players from PrisonSG they can forget it.

And most of all, finally Zidane might be exposed. He's an average coach who just had the greatest bench ever. Now it's gone. Good luck, show your skills or get out.

There will be new players besides Mbappe, calm down.

One year ago nobody was talking about Mbappe, Dembele and Coutinho.
Now they were tretead as future BallonDOrs and total game changers.

When RM will need a new CR7, there will be 4-5 new guys to buy (for a lot of money), plus 1-2 star players from top teams (not PSG) will always be available.
You make it sound as if RM won't be able to buy any top player in the next 10 years.

Dybala is somewhat available.
Griezmann also.
Hazard, who knows?
Coutinho will be sold soon probably.
Any player from Dortmund, German teams, Portuguese teams, Italian teams, French teams (except Psg), Spanish teams, young Brasilian and Argentine players are all available.

The world will exist after Messi and CR7 and Barca and Real will again buy some new superstars, the same as how we had Ronaldo R9, Rivaldo, Ronaldinho, Romario etc.
New guys always emerge.

Welcome to Scotland, you'd be better off in Glasgow or Edinburgh though, it's quite boring outside of those two places

They miss morata currently but it's only 3 games into the season lol..

Real can sign anybody they want thats not changed. Going forward they will add to their team and sign a big name at some point. Their bench hasn't gone. The depth is still great they lost morata thats it.

They lost James too. And Bale cannot be relied upon this season either even when he is fit.

Ofc there will be more superstars in the future, but with the oil clubs in the picture, RM/Barca wont be top dogs in the market anymore.
Ofc we will still be able to buy good players, but we cant compete with QSG making big signings, we have to be smart about it.
Barca wont be able to replace Messi, regardless of money, and replacing Ronaldo is almost impossible as well.
I predict that neither team will be as dominant when they are gone, still very good obviously, but not just as consistently dominant.
We will see in a few years how it all turns out.

Barcelona and Real won't be Top2 clubs like in the last 5-10 years.
There will be 5-6 equal clubs, and Barcelona and Real will be one of them.

In the past, Barcelona and Real could have picked the best players easily, now it will be a little harder.
But for example, imagine that CR7 stopped playing football this summer.
And imagine that RM had 200-250M for 2 new players.
Look what they could have bought this summer:
Dembele 145
Dybala 120-130M (somewhat available)
Mbappe 180M if you want to break the bank
Griezmann, 100M next summer

Just in one summer, you could have bought Griezmann+Dembele, Dybala+Dembele, Dybala+Griezmann.
Even buying one of them would be a good job.
Buying 2 guys like these, and you are in top 2-3 easily again and you have 2 superstars for the next 4-5 years at least.

Messi-Cr7 was the most dominant Barca vs Real era in history.
Football, La Liga and Barca vs Real existed before Messi vs Cr7 and it will exist after them.
Ok, there won't be as much spotlight as now, but...
We'll probably return to Rivaldo vs Galacticos, or Ronaldinho vs Real era.

It won't be too bad either.
