Valencia flopped as I suspected... That was to good to be true for them.

What I mean't is that things have to align to them as it did to Leicester. All were so f bad that season that they won it. Even with that type of play they had thwn, this season they would not win it.
As for Valencia this season they can,'t count on bad form of all rivals. Barça for one.

Don't think they are lucky @*#&ers. They completely controlled the game. WHU parked the bus. In the end they forced their win through countless pressing and attacks.

Well. I have seen so many teams to be 100 times better but at the end they were short for a goal. City ain't.
And yes. I watched the game. WH player 5-4-1 in 2nd half. Was so funny to see them. Like some shipwreckers holding to a piece of wood.
So as I wrote. City was waaaaay better but at the end they scored. Many teams are not that lucky. So City this season has best team, best coach, best playstyle and luck. They are winning it for sure.

Oh yeah, Arsenal were unlucky although DDG had one of the best GK performances I've seen. Absolutely incredible.

We have 2 goals canceled wrongly in 2 consecutive games that would have made our lead 10 points over both Valencia and AM. How are we lucky?

Maybe he wanted to say that we were lucky in the terms that even "robbed" we are still in a favourable position while other teams "spilled the milk".
That is how I understand what he wrote.

you're right that we have been robbed 4 points in the last two matches. my point more generally is that our lead in the table, with or without those points, is artificially inflated. we have not played well, and it just so happens that our competitors have been off form as well. it is a strange year in la liga. the reason i say it's hard to be cheery about it is that in any other year, we would be paying dearly--for example, madrid would not be far behind, or might indeed have been ahead, had they not unwisely sold morata and loaned james. but those things are out of our hands, and that is what i mean by our 'luck'.

In our game against Valencia we were robbed of Messi's goal which might have changed the momentum of the game in our favor but anyways we were also lucky to not be on the receiving end of a penalty in that game.
