It seems like La Liga's top teams are all going through a crisis, but the smaller clubs play some really good football. Has the League really declined or is it only the top clubs that have completed their circle and are in a rebuilding phase?

Not sure how you go from 'the smaller clubs play good football' to asking if the league has declined.

It's a question man. I m not going from something to another point. I am simply asking. How other people see the situation.
I don't watch all la Liga teams except when they play Barca. So, given that Barca makes every team look like Liverpool, I don't have a clear image. One thing is for sure. The big 3 have declined a lot. I would simply like to pick other people's minds about the overall quality of the League.

Well, why would the league decline if you know well enough smaller teams play good football? It suggests the opposite. The league itself is on the up. Gap between the top and bottom isn't nearly as large, not only due to the problems top3 are facing. + despite its problems, Spanish teams are still in the conversation for European trophies each season if you want to go by that criteria instead.

Zidane is a solid 2nd tier manager, 1st tier being only Klopp and Pep atm.

It is starting to get clearler what his really strong points are, and what his average points are. He's a couple of levels above Ernesto Valverde. Stylistic-wise, he is not much different from Valverde imo, but in everything else, he's much better. He's gutsier, has loads of personality, isn't scared to impose his authority (being a bona fide football legend surely helps a lot in this register), and his teams are really well set up in a pretty conservative way. They don't usually play exuberant football, and they are far from being innovative in any way, but it's pleasant enough to watch them.

Lad is mad unlucky. First a VAR takes his goal away vs Osasuna, then gets played at RW against Mallorca.. If people excuse Benzema's sitters, then should be 3x as tolerant to this sort of thing.

Rubiales in the stands next to Saudi sheik counting the oil money he received for selling out Spanish football.

Bit demoralising knowing this game could have been so much more, but Atleti are only out there for a bruising. Bastards do it in every final..

This goes to overtime? Do us all a favour and go straight to penalties, its been a rough game (in every sense of the word).
