Too early to say, but agree. I doubt Barca is in contention though, no matter what. We lack in too many areas. It's "off-season" for us.

Not so fast. We can match the points of last season, so if both Madrid and Atletico have stinker seasons, we can be there in the fight. Last season we were pretty crap as well, but because all teams were crap at the top, we were in it. Even Sevilla who usually is not part of any title fight was there with a good chance at some point.

The league is weak, and when the league is weak the winner doesn't have to do that great to win it. Just fuck up less than the others.

I think you underestimate the affect of Messi. Without his goalscoring I don't think we can challenge. We won't have the consistency in scoring. Not to mention we can't defend.

His goalscoring was more and more vs weaker sides we kind of beat either way. He wasn't scoring at all at a good rate vs bigger sides last year.
