More factors than just that. He subbed on a fast right wingback and then minutes later that player made a great overlap on the right for a crucial goal. Could be that he saw team needed fresh, fast legs on that side to attack the box, vs Carvajal who was tiring and is slower.

When something happens very consistently it's usually not luck, most of the time, the subs he makes changes the game.

'Seeing the need for fast legs' is something you can claim at any moment with this RM team that has Modric, Kroos, Carvahal, and the rest

Pulling out a severely underperforming player is another thing I would't give credit for, as anyone can do it.

I need to see something more from a coach in a sub.
Like introducing a different tactical tweak, changing formation, giving new roles etc

With the way some here worship the mundane, we will be celebrating subs like Koeman's: put attackers in when losing, put defenders in when winning

On another note, imagine the salt in here if this team goes invincible.

Lmao

LOL

Wolfe is a weird bloke, isn't he?

Bashes Ancelotti every other day for the football he is playing, and in between he takes pleasure that RM is winning and the possibility of an incinvible season

Ancelotti is lately almost as good as prime Lord Ernesto.

But RM won't sack him though.

If they were us, they would sack Carlo while he is on top and hire some random shitty former fancy player as a coach, like Raul or Guti.
Real Madrid DNA.

Barca has found their rythm, so i guess we have to win the remaining games before the world cup as they won't be dropping points.

After the break we will see what form everyone is in.

Ancelotti is making comebacks against best City and Psg sides. Valverde is losing against Roma and Liverpool without Salah and Firmino with 3-goal leads. Carlo is winning CL with completely new CB partnership, improving massively Vini, Militao, Valverde and Rodrygo, making new core of players like these four plus Alaba and Tchou. Which player Valverde improved? But yeah? ?almost as good?.

Depends on Bayern game. If they can win it for morale, I think they should be good. CL is lost otherwise.
