Its funny that you think Barca can afford sacking him

what does that even mean lol. we are not some sunday club that is 'fortunate' to have a manager

we are fc barcelona and should sack anyone who isnt up to the job

what, are xavi and his bro holding the clbu hostage? lol

That 'specialist' makes no sense as you dont 'have' to make another mistake if made one already.

Doesnt work like that at all.

Both were pens and will always be given.

Also how does this fit into idea that first pen was 'courruption'?

It doesnt.

Only Manzano seems corrupt to me. That was in the heat of the game. This one was just wrong.

I think it is a pen and I dont agree with that Marca ref it is natural position of hands when running as Foyth had arm out probably to try and slow Vini a bit.

Had Villareal not been given pen or that situation I am certain would still be claiming corrupt. It is the pen given to Villareal that changed that shout.

Wasnt arm swining when running and even those are onlu not a pen when it is unavoidable for player.

VAR thought it a pen as did the ref and they know the same rules and would think both did not believe it was part of running action and Foyth needs to be more aware and not hit hand there.

Also I am sure you dont agree with Marca every time so cant really pick and choose when that matters.

Looked a pen to me and could see why given.

How does Madrid manage shitshows like this year after year and then win CL in those same years?

They are mega clutch in CL and the other team aren't great. The oil clubs that are among the biggest players in CL these days can't handle pressure at all.

And Liverpool's style, heavy on crosses and light in midfield creativity fits Madrid like a glove.

Combination of such factors. Add to that some top class players who are proven mental beasts and winners that have played dozens of big stakes games... and you get a difficult team to beat in CL, certainly by the oil teams that still appear to be CL rookies.

Dont think they are major handlers of pressure just it was a combination of their attackers turning games late in almost freakish way and wont be repeated and mistakes from opposition if anything mayve those teams got casual.

Has happened before these runs.

It is one win in CL of last four also and two last 16 defeats in that. Could happen again lets see.

Their defence was honking bar the final and fact they conceded so many goals and Courtois was still one of their best players is not sustainable dont think.

Fancy Liverpool to knock them out even if not great this season.. but VVD injury would make that more difficult clearly
