This Madrid team will not survive the grind when there’s a game every few days. Far too uninspiring and no high volume goal scorer to compensate.

Not having a high volume goalscorer is a problem. But they just won vs a CL team. I'd say they're doing fine for now

It seems like a common thread in this league. Both Barca and Madrid easily winning games despite not being all that good a lot of the time.

Uninspiring stuff, to be sure, think we had a similiar start last season, but it quickly went downhill as we approached halfway.

Vini doesn't solve their striker problem. They had him last season in the best form of his life and they still finished 10 points behind us. They play pretty mediocre and only win because of effectiveness. They also have a very thin squad, we'll see how they'll perform with a few english weeks in a row now.
I'm pretty sure we'll win LaLiga pretty comfortably if we reach the same amount of points as last season.

We don't have a thin squad
We have about some 8 midfielders who all provide something, 2 players for each position otherwise, some which have been injured that you cant do anything about and about the entire problem is the lack of a striker
Vini doesn't solve a problem but he adds threat to better defenders we don't have when he's out

Florentino's very astute and knows the club has enough credit to blow through a season or two without trophies, keep finances tight and then get his superstar.
