If AM played like this against us, we would have lost as well and we'd be hearing the usual suspects moan.

So let's relax, AM are just playing very very well, after coming off a shock lost last week.

Madrid had been getting a few luck points recently luck had to run out at some point.
Dont think so to be honest.
Atleti's goals been fairly simple and just whipping crosses into the box to unmarked players. Not done anything too special.

We don't concede silly goals like that because we are better organised defensively.

No, cause AM are cursed against you in the league, doesn't matter the form going into those games, they will salvage a draw at absolute best.

Relegation teams have a better H2H against Barca than Simeone, most likely.

Carlo should try the Christmas tree format from his Milan days with the current real Madrid squad, this diamond will get killed against top teams

We were outclassed away at Atletico 2 seasons ago. Always one of the toughest games in the league.

Got majorly lucky to win there last season too.

Really don't see it with Rodrygo. That double against City will always live long in the memory but just don't think he is very consistent and doesn't excel at many things.

The thing is... A midfielder can only bail you out a few times. There is no way that Bellingham fills the gap left by Benz's departure. And Real hasn't addressed that so far.

Funny thing is LW was his original position for joining RM, but it doesn't seem he is any better out left than out right either.
