Xavi got more points per game last season (nevermind the title winning one) and people wanted to murder him.
I know about the data, but the improvement in CL is obvious for Flick. Also, as long as we win the league I don't care if it's by 10 points like in 22-23 or just 3.
The real problem would appear if we don't win the league due to dropping many points vs smaller teams. If that happens that would be a big failure for Flick. So far we're still 1st and I'm confident we can win it.
Personally, I'm enjoying Flick football and the risk is worth it up to this point. At the end we will draw the line and we'll see if the high number of conceded goals affected our league results and the chances of winning the championship. Flick ball is all about high risk - high reward. If we win the league and score buckets of goals I imagine people would be excited about it.
