I'm honestly convinced that, if we go on a winning run of 6-7 games, we are almost certainly getting to the first place or at least getting uncomfortably close to Madrid in points.

Like jamrock said Madrid can grind out results on many different ways but that also has a limit. They get outplayed every away game and I would not be so surprised if Valladolid does it tonight as well. Some teams will choke but others will endure, especially experienced quality sides that know how to save their result.

Madrid and Atletico also have two UCL playoff matches which gives us a little advantage in the next few weeks.

It's not just that. A lot of teams have long rangers. We are judging mostly from Barca perspective and yes it's not part of our arsenal. Rakitic was our last great long-ranger, but even he was discouraged from doing so. Cruyffismo with the current squad it's blasphemy to shoot from 25m. Gettafuckout, you're benched!
