Pimi is slowly cooking something, after a poor start only 3 losses in last 14 games and that's against Barca, Madrid and Atleti. Still too many draws because they don't score enough but he has adapted and realised he can't really play tiki-taka with this team. Can potentially still get into Europe but if they'll miss out on their beloved Europa League I think it's probably better to have another season just focusing on La Liga as participating in UECL doesn't really bring that much money and they'll have to sell likes of Lukebakio, Bade and Juanlu anyway. But hopefully could at least afford to re-invest some money to improve the team though Orta's signings are not exactly inspiring so far.
OTOH I think Imanol's time at Sociedad could be up. He's clearly running out of ideas. It doesn't help they lose a starter or two every summer (already counting on Zubi finally leaving too) but their biggest problem is they don't have a reliable striker. Only dead-last Valladolid scored less goals and even Las Palmas and Alaves who are in relegation zone have both scored 7 goals more than Sociedad.
Imanol's contract expires in summer and he apparently doesn't get along too well with Sociedad board so wouldn't be surprised if he won't renew (or won't be offered a new contract). In that case I think they should seriously consider to get Inigo Perez who deserves a team with better resources to show if he can make a step up though he won't bring that longterm stability they had with Imanol as it's very likely he will be lured to EPL in next few years especially after a big impact his former boss is having with Bournemouth. Even the Cherries could consider him if (or better said when) Iraola will move to a bigger club.
