With La Liga expected to get 5 CL spots next season, the race for the CL spots is pretty close with 9 more games to go

Betis is in form, as shown by above table, and sits at 6th place with 47 points , same as 5th place Villarreal but the later has game in hand.
Bilbao has 53 points, but with an eye on EL they had only 5 points from last 4 games and aren't in the best form.
Atletico isn't far ahead of them, with 57 points, they are closer to CL race than title race now. However with their squad, schedule and no European football, they are a safe bet.

My prediction is one of Villarreal or Bilbao will miss on that spot tbh.

Next week match of Villareal vs Bilbao will be huge

Isn't this because our auditors will have the income registered at 30m-ish per season for three years and not a lump sum of 100m?

We need to know how the Madrid VIP sales were accounted now.

Also whether Roque sale is included.

And lastly, club priority should be to make Basketball sector a Barca brand but indepentent to the institution of Barca. Bring in part ownership and test the model for the football section potentially down the line.

Same with women's section.

Only issue I see with this is if we have inflated the Nike agreement by including Basketball and Femeni jersey deals into the package. Probably so.

The announcement today is surely coincidental and has nothing to do with the semis, right? RIGHT? They don't even hide their agenda anymore. Corrupt piece of shit league.

No, it should not. Barca is proud to be the most successful multi sports club in the world and should not change that because of a corrupt league and Bartomeau's criminal dealings. Not to mention that many socios don't even care about football, but are members for other sports. When the new stadium starts to generate money in full capacity, these problems will disappear anyways.
And as you said yourself, the new Nike deal was possible thank's to women's success lately and their increasing importance for sponsors among other things.

Our basketball section loses 40m yearly. Madrid's circa 30m.

We should explore ways to not have this under the football sections expenses.

Do you think it adds 40m / yr income from Nike?

This section operates since ages with a loss, nothing new. If the club doesn't change it, then it's wanted by the different boards and members, who discuss these things in their annual gatherings. That's why we're a real club and not a dictatorship like most today's football teams. If the democracy wants a successful basketball team, that operates with a loss, then so be it.
But that's not the cause of our financial problems anyways. It's Bartomeu's dealings and the annual lose of 100m by not playing in the Camp Nou.

edit: And if I'm not wrong, the club still pays Mirotic his 11m salary a season, that he got from Bartomeu.
