Agreed, league by league basis, as I said two posts above. Not that I think it's ever moral. It just happens to be the best course of action for the given league, even if it hurts some parties within it. The English probably have too many financial commitments to support complete voiding, but also too many to try and cut 20/21 short to accomodate 19/20 to spread into autumn. So they'll go into middle ground where they either play some part of the season in an attempt to clinch or make titles and promotions/relegations clearer (which can backfire) or just hand things out based on current standings. Either of which is changing the rules of the game in the middle of it. Fucked up, but they're businessmen first and foremost. Voting doesn't make it any more OK, those who profit the most or have least to lose from a given resolution will just outvote the rest.
