Cmon Olmo is fine. When he came on vs Bayern he looked pretty much fit and overall left a good impression. Fermin was good too but why did we spend 60m on Olmo if we are going to bench him in the biggest games when he's totally fit just because there's a risk of him catching an injury?

Tushy surely starts? Modric doesn't seem to start two intense games in a row anymore.
Could be of course. Will depend on Modric's fitness I assume, as with Tchoumenie and without Modric they have nearly zero creativity in the midfield to play the dangerous long/through balls.

I expect a Madrid that sits deeper and gives us the ball, to wait for mistakes and fast counter attacks.
They won't 'give you' the ball - as is they're too shit at keeping it so know they'll lose it and cope with repercussions. Bellingham cant escape press on his own when likes of Fede and Tchou cant hack it

So most likely if they do anything, they'll try to bypass lines and go for fast Vini moves at LW that tend to work vs just about anyone while Jude gets his favourite position centrally to get on end of crosses
Inigo is likely to be targeted centrally on pace grounds and runs from behind by either of the above

If this werent at Bernabeu I'd suspect would even do this for 90 mins straight, but most likely team will get out the blocks if risk is worth it i.e. Barca prove tired/shaky and someone like Guler will be effective at disrupting the game

Ancelotti doesnt use kids though so would expect keeps team the same if score vaguely close

I think midfield is the only area where Barca is superior to Madrid.
How can you even argue that there's a single club with superior attack to Barça so far this season? Especially Madrid, whose attack generally had troubles scoring in most games this season. Wouldn't even say their defence is that strong without Carvajal and Courtois. Mendy also has a massive drop off from his previous seasons.

I want a Manita.
Yea would be epic

But even a small margin win would do us good when it comes to securing history. Because this match is defo an all timer. For the quality of players present compared to others of this generation, for the competitiveness and backstory of the Clasico - you simply have to expect it to be.

Simple. I use bigger sample size than a few games.

Vinicius is nearly a lock for BD. Best player in the world that fecker.

On paper, despite Barca's good form, Madrid is still superior. But this means nothing if several of our players deliver the goods big time during the match.

We have beaten them quite frequently even during our financial issues while they were beating every side in Europe in big games bar maybe City.

Madrid won't be able to press and move like Bayern did.

We just run 126km versus Bayern with Bayern themselves running 120.

Madrid ran 102km with Dortmund running 107km. Incredible low energy match which Dortmund overran than for a half in.

Levels to this.

If we bring that level of intensity to Bernabeu then they can not match us.

It would be awesome if we manage to run vs Madrid as vs. Bayern since the energy consumption for this game was very high, we have a day less to rest than Madrid and also Madrid had an much easier game at home vs. BVB than we had against Bayern.

Day less and you have to take into account our main players being out on international duties while Vinny rested and Mbappe raped.

It would be surprising if we could replicate the same intensity.

They are going to park the bus. After getting Tebas to do their dirty work and outspending us by hundreds of millions, at home, in front of 70 thousand people, they are going to park the bus.

And excuses will be made for it. They already are. Injuries are not a valid excuse when you can spend 10 times everyone else in your league.

Both teams look really good and I think this is our biggest test of the season. RM will surely try to counter and exploit all the spaces. They know that Flick will be having a high line no matter what.

Moreover, Flick's reluctance to make resting subs after the 4-1 goal may also contribute to our players fatigue.
