NTC with a Positive attitude
Kounde, Cubarsi, Iningo, Balde
Casado, Pedri,
Yamal, Olmo, Raphinha
Lewa

Raphinha is either going against Lucas, could be a similar matchup as Guerreiro in Bayern, Or Miitao, who is defensively strong but shouldnt be good at going forward. Blade too will have quite an amount of space to exploit, when Raph inverts.
Our Midfield should be able to handle theirs. Yamal will have a hard time against Mendy. Yamal will overload the mid because of that.
Olmo will be the guy who unlocks the through passes and also the goal threat.
Our press needs to be on point and midfield sharp so we can play the High line, and use that overloaded midfield to overwhelm them.
We have to reduce the chances of them having space in the mid to lob those crosses or through passes towards Vini and Mbappe.

5-1 Ass spanking. ~s

Reports from Madrid media that Tchouameni will start the game (jfelixdiaz, Marca journo apparently)

Not sure how reliable but I hope it's true. Modric would be a much bigger danger to us than Tchouameni, no matter how old he is.

It will be a much tougher game than the previous due to the opponent's quailty, fatigue, venue and maybe tactics, Madrid knowing all to well how to exploit such high line play and having pace merchants in attack like Vini or Mbappe to put it into practice.

I dont know if I have disagree with any post as hard as with this one.

Catalans are favorites. They rested good enough already, they have more individual quality than Real Madrid, Hansi is a better coach. Barcelona players are motivated because theres so much young hungry blood with Barcelona in their heart. Even old Lewandowski I feel like loves Barcelona more than he loved Bayern and he wants to become an icon there.

Drained emotionally after big win against Bayern? They are pumped hard emotionally after big win against Bayern :)
I think it's about even

Yeah definitely. But Flick spoke a lot about adaptation to different circumstances in his press conference. He probably won't let Vini and Mbappe use their speed all the time. Maybe he won't play as high as vs Bayern.

That's why I'm confident in this game. I trust Flick fully, even more so after the Bayern game. If we play same way like against Bayern, I don't think it'll be good for us. But I don't think we will.

the only thing that irks me is that real seems to enjoy playing from underdog position.
They're no underdogs tbf. We've been the better team in Liga so far but it's home ground and they have plenty of individual quality which can bail them out even when they are not better as a team.
