Without brathwaite there’s literally no one else making runs or trying to get into dangerous areas. Having Messi griezmann and coutinho is like having three players all trying to play the same position. It just makes no sense

I would say "perhaps certain users here will finally stop supporting line ups with 3 number 10s", but I just know that after some good performance against a relegation fodder people will line up to call it our best set up yet. Lmao

The only way to go forward is to get rid of all 3.

Incredible that Cou scored two against us, even though his team was miles better. He looks like a fragile kid whos only ?skill? is to step on the ball and slow attacks down.

I like the 2nd string team more . I hope to see it more often. Faster, more pressing, more cohesion in terms of positioning. Better, quicker transitions...

You should better be praying for Cadiz to morph into Ferencvaros or Dynamo Kiev

That's how it looks. Best formula currently is Braithwaite - Fati, Griezmann, Dembele. Messi needs to leave. He just can't be quick mobile enough anymore. He's still great on the ball, but it doesn't do much when he's so static. Every attack needs to go through him or he's a passenger.

Slow and predictable. We can play like this for years without scoring. The problem is the midfield as there is no connection between Coutinho busquets and dejong. This our biggest issu

Tbf I'm not sure what the thinking is with having Griezmann, Messi and Coutinho at the same time followed by busquets behind. slowest midfield area in world football.

There are a number of players that Koeman seems to think of as his strongest and most untouchable members of the squad that in my opinion should be on a level playing field with the likes of Pjanic, Puig etc who barely get a sniff. Our b team despite playing against what people would argue as weaker opposition, look much more fluid and energetic.

Koeman shoehorned as many 10s in his team as possible at Everton and he’s doing the same here. Any half decent side playing against this 11 will have a comfortable time defending against it.

Yep
5 4 1
Brick wall.
And the play is sloooow slooooow slooooooow handball attacking circling and then someone looses nerve and drops a long ball down the drain...

Disaster...
Makes me cry.
