I noticed that it is also dependent on certain events that set the benchmarks of its flow.
For instance, the weeks when there are games of significance like Bayern and Madrid fly by fast, those of international breaks come to a crawl.
Yeah that is true. Time flies when having fun.

I don't know if you do this, but I tend to also mark goals by world events.

For instance, I wanna lose a good amount of weight by summer 2026 (giving myself ample time). But rather than saying 'summer 2026' I say 'by the World Cup'. It seems to give me more motivation sometimes as I am thinking of an actual event rather than an arbitrary date with no marker.

Do you ever do anything like that or is it just me? I know some people go by holidays, but not sure about actual events.

The frequency of these international breaks is sickening
Interesting that fewer people want them, or at least that's what I think.
Well, the World Cup and Euros are still fun to watch and somehow those NTs have to qualify there, and in order to qualify, some practice is needed and the NL gives them practice.

To die-hard football fans it's always been like that no? Only WC and Euro to a degree is exciting. But I remember from very young age people always remarked how club football was more enjoyable(also factors in if you have clubs you support).

The thing is that when your team is kicking ass, you can't get enough of it...and thus, such an interruption is nothing else but annoyance.

It is an away game, with a middle of the table side, so knowing Flick, he won't experiment too much; good result (I guess that could only be a win) would set right vibes when the league resumes after the break.

With Cubarsi likely being out I think this could be a very scary game along the lines of Osasuna. We need to find a way to shore up the defense for this 1 game before the break.

We have a few weeks of international football so if Cubarsi is healed from the cut he could in theory play.

The gap between Dom and Cubarsi is huge, but the way Fort has looked this season I may actually prefer Dom at CB with Inigo to Fort at RB with Kounde coming into CB.
