Inaki Pena looks like he could play a good offside trap. Maybe we can try him partnering Cubarsi in defence with Szczesny in goal?

I've wanted Tec in from Day 1, but I'm starting to think Pena is more suited to Flick's style of football.

The saves Pena has been making are pretty standard stuff, but he has saved us a number of times by coming off his line on the times we have been caught out on our high line. You won't get that with Tec. He just isn't nimble or quick enough at 35 to do it.

I always thought Pena would be dropped the first mistake he makes, but I'm thinking he will play all the season regardless now. His coming off his line is just too big of a necessity for Flick's tactical setup.

He hasn't been worse than Ter Stegen, and we're stuck with both of them, like strikers, Barcelona doesn't value goalkeepers, they're all failed midfielders....

Debatable. We will first need to see a game of Szczesny in Barca shirt to make such a conclusion. I would definitely like to see that but I believe there are no guarantees he is better than Pena now.

He should definitely "rest" Kounde for his embarrassing performances. Fort cannot be worse and deserves it. There's always one or two players actively sabotaging Barca, for years now.
