I’d be very surprised if they didn’t get relegated though. Going forward they’ve got nothing. A solid 4-0, 5-0 win here would do wonders for the confidence.

It's supposed to go through Messi. This is the design. Pedri and De Jong feed off Messi more by doing runs than they feed Messi in advanced positions. Since Messi makes few runs and usually plays deep.

Not liking this setup. We have essentially only one player that can make deep offensive runs. Result as expected is a whole lot of half-way attacks squandering the momentum.

Dest can play the wingback role but Alba is way too limited in the fundamentals of playmaking to be this high up.
