It's clear we're playing 4-3-3 in defense with Araujo at RB, but in attack it's also clear we're playing with 3 at the back, I just don't get Alba's position, seems to be having a free role down that left side, without him when attacking we're playing 3-3-3 with typical midfield and attack positioning, like you'd play in a 4-3-3, but it's actually 3-4-3 with Frenkie and Gavi as the CMs, and Alba in a weird LB/LM role.

Finally an entertaining match with some great football from Barcelona. I don't care if it is Elche or Real. Finally some great game. And from our youngsters too.

Barcelona is a time of incredible transformation and chances for young people. It doesn't happen often, usually all the seats are occupied.

Some great defensive runs from Dembele...I feel it often gets underrated, especially since Xavi took over. It's clear that both he and Abde now have clear instructions to stick more to the touch line to widen the play, take their man on when getting the ball, since they're pretty much our best dribblers, but to also do that defensive work when needed.
