People still go on about that Dembele miss.

We would have still probably gone out anyway the way we played at Anfield.

It's also crazy how these mongs exempt the amigos when they were the one who disappeared the hardest. Only Messi played decent by his standards at Anfield (and IMO, he has some of the blame too for not ramping it up to the highest possible gear).

Remember Dani Alves saying he used to play wide pass down the line even if Pep hated it just so Messi can touch the ball? Even then Messi had issues of poor discipline off the ball and needed constant action to stay involved. Now multiply that by a lot and you get a player that can't let 1 minute without him being on the ball running things.

And the only way to be on the ball all the time is to follow the ball around with a "free" role.

I remember at the end of Ronaldinho’s time at Bar?a he used to Constantly wander over to Messi’s side of the pitch. Just to be involved.

Yea, and Henry did it too according to his own words vs Sporting in the first half. And Pep subbed him at half time.

It's just a big no-no tactically to abandon your position and look for the ball.

Huesca has to be among the worst teams in La Liga the last 15 years. Still wont put money on a Barca clean sheet.
