It wasnt wide open.

Elche barely got past half way line bar Minguezas moment.

Wide open as in Elche had they're legs spread. We had acres of space that could have been exploited. Not that Elche was good going forward. They were 0 in attack

Game was bit more open first 10 mins. Then until goal Elche sat back. After goal opened up a bit more and in second half we were creating more.

As we saw at the end of last la Liga campAign, yes, the referee give penalty to Real Madrid ONLY. This one was so evident for everybody, not for the referee. Just wondering, are not theses matches reviewed by anybody from Spanish referee committee or whoever is in charge?

It was my impression too. Not sure if this coach really know why he looking at or really understand what happen on the pitch. You see that Griezman and Braithwaite do not play anything and you keep them entire match!!! Can somebody understand that? Not even one was changed with Konrad de la Fuente. Cannot wait to see this coach as soon as possible out!

The referee just saw the shitshow of penalties and thought he'd save our players from that embarrassment

The game was better than the result suggests. Barca controlled the game and the pressing worked rather good.
