Frankie is more suited for bus parking teams like this. Also can't play Araujo with Kounde. on the same flank. They're both pretty bad on the ball. Araujos only outlet seem to be defending fast wingers. Hope he's sold in summer.

Have to say, offensive midfield was the weakpoint today. Gavi and then Fermin, virtually no impact or effectiveness. In regards to Fermin, was just half a second out here or there from getting the shot off or the right pass.

It's not like Gavi was this reckless when he started playing for the 1st team. I cannot remember him being mentioned as such a player in the youth categories either.

At some point he simply decided to be this type of a player. It's up to the coaches and management to tell him to tone it down though. You can be an aggressive player, play your heart out for the team and badge without hacking other players and causing unneccessary injuries and yellow cards all the time.

When he actually tries to play football he can be very good depending on the type of opposition and tactic he's facing. It's the same thing everyone have been criticizing him for the last couple of years.

Being reckless is not the same as being aggressive.

The first one could easily of had a bad injury also the way he careered into his planted leg.

How dumb do you have to be to do that and literally minutes later fly in again..

Wins games when the coach can see the weakness that opposition are exploiting in Araujo and Casado and addresses it.

Good changes from him but cant keep making them from the start when it is 3rd game in recent times he has had to hook Casado for same reasons.

Balde was horrendous. Kounde slightly better but still awful.

Those two and Araujo/Casado made it very difficult for Barca in first half to get an foot hold in game.
