Depends if the 3 stay in line. But I expect the wide CBs to move up if Osasuna will play a deep 4-5-1 defensive block. It would be bad if we keep a flat 3 line. In general, you want 1 more defender than the opponent's attackers. 4 at the back vs 3 line. 3 at the back vs 2 striker systems, 2 at the back when the opponent plays with 1 striker only.
3 vs 1 is overkill. Especially a 1 that is far from peak Drogba.
Check the heatmaps on Sofascore for the last 2 games. You can see that Lenglet is DML to central midfield, Mingueza. The same on the DMR, Pique in DMC and Busquets central midfielder.
It is pretty much as you said.
Everyone else is either attacking mid or forward spaces.
The main difference is that everyone is moving forward and backwards as a block compared to before. Even us in a 433.
Of course all it takes is to go a goal behind and we will probably go into panic wrestling mode.
