Could be problematic to re-schedule this game especially if we qualify for CDR final and also go far in CL.

There are two possible dates at the moment. The first will be the weekend of 26 and 27 April, provided that Barça does not qualify for the Copa del Rey final, scheduled for the 26th. They are in the Copa del Rey semi-finals against Atlético, with a 4-4 win in the first leg. The return leg will be played on 2 April.

The second of these will be the week of May 19-25. There is no midweek match, and it could be played on the 21st, which is a Wednesday. Matchday 38 will be held on Sunday the 25th.

We’ll win the league on match day 24 and scrap the game. Brazil - Argentina style.

Call me whatever names you want, cancelling the game because of this is dumb asf. People bought expensive tickets for both game and travel to Spain, while taking a day free from their job in their countries and your free days are very limited in a year perspective. So what someone who wasnt known for most fans died

?????

Do you have any ideea what this death means to the players , especially most of the younger players who knew him since they were kids playing for Barca ?

You expect them to go out and play the game shortly they found out a person dear to them just died ?

From someone not involved POV that might be true and cancelling a game with already packed schedule is not ideal but they wouldn't postpone the game if it wasn't someone close to the team.

People forget that there are many more staff members involved than just the obvious ones like coaches. Players spend lots of time with staff members and often have close relationships with them. It was right to cancel the game if the team asked for it. No one can focus on the game if someone from your team dies right before a game. Very sad.

I think what is key to understand here as well is that it was very short notice for the players I imagine.

How are you going to go on the pitch and perform when you just entered a state of shock due to a passing?

You are a psychopath. Exercise the fucking little empathy you have in your rotten body and think about what it feels like for the players to find out directly before a game that member of staff that they know personally and work with every single day has suddenly died. It's a massive shock and people need time to grieve.

But he was known to the players who have to go out there and perform. They aren’t robots without emotions. Deaths are always sad but it’s even stranger when you see someone a matter of hours earlier and they pass unexpectedly.

An adult mind can rationalise it and process it a bit, a lot of these players are teenagers and young adults who never would’ve gone through something like this before.
