I think they are equally important matches.

Especially considering that we will go into the second leg with a goal advantage.

We cannot afford to drop points in the league now.

They are equally as important but what is at risk in one and standard of team facing makes Osasuna the only choice to rotate.

Or else it will be strongest team for those two and away to Atletico and that could be a big ask when take into account the game last night also and how much they all put into it.

Forgot about Eric, he definitely deserves more minutes. Maybe put Araujo as RB then.

Araujo-Cubarsi-Eric-Balde
------- Casado-Frenkie
---------------Fermin
Raphinha-Lewa----Gavi

Have to rotate. After this it's Benfica and then Atletico at Wanda.

Balde is doubtful, and I would rest him anyway. He was visibly exhausted last night.

And Olmo doesn't need rest imo, since he barely played vs Benfica. Not to mention he is key if we rest Pedri and Lamine.

Fort playing would be suicide as Zaragoza is going to play his personal WC final as he always does vs us. Would rather field Araujo.

That was a tough run about in Lisbon. Going to need to rest some but don't want to have a full rotation and drop points. Wasn't the last time we done that also against Osasuna?

Pedri is the main one to rest given he ran almost 14km in Portugal.

I wonder if Casado-Eric with Olmo ahead of them could work, or would that pair be too limited on the ball?

Araujo will start v Benfica, he doesn't need rest, rather the opposite to be ready. Balde and Iñigo are rumoured to rest.

In midfield it seems Flick can't live without Pedri, but Casado surely starts over him imo.

Lamine probably didn't accumulate much fatigue v Benfica so he starts, same with Olmo. Raphinha can rest.

Kounde, Cuba, Araujo, Martin
Frenkie, Casado
Yamal, Olmo, Ferran
Lewy

Rest Kounde, Frenkie, Yamal, Olmo and Lewy asap.

Early kickoff versus Benfica Tuesday. I wonder if Lamine starts on the bench as the game will start before he breaks fast.

If so, start him here, with Ferran getting an early enough sub to build some rhythm.
