I'm so tired of this araujo...at some point it reached a personal level of hate
Dude is always killing us in decisive matches
Sack the shit already and sell it to Juventus or whoever wants him for any amount of money.

The whole world knows that he will never be the Puyol 2.0 we are looking for and yet they persist in aligning him under the motive : we need him to play so his value won't decrease 😳😳😳 I mean WTF he is decreasing our chances each time in a decisive moment
harsh, he was brillant against atletico and he is a big reason of the qualification for the final of the copa.
We gonna need him against dortmund and guirassy

I have to say it, guys a very disappointing night. Here I am, back home, deciding to watch yet another Barca game, hoping for a solid and entertaining performance. I’d already checked the news and knew that Barca had the chance to go 6 points clear, which could’ve been huge in sealing the league. Yet, it was a massively disappointing display.

The first half was okay. Not great, not awful. A few chances to score, but nothing the team hasn't overcome before.

The second half, though, was bad. Yamal and Koundé especially. The right flank squandered nearly every decent opportunity that came their way.

A truly frustrating performance. I was on edge the whole time, waiting until the very end, unsure if the team would even win. Honestly, I don’t like that feeling. Sometimes, I wonder if I should just stop watching Barca games altogether and only check the goals. It’s incredibly frustrating when the team loses like this. It feels like a waste of time and a disappointing experience.

I'm afraid of the match with Borussia Dortmund, it will be a more difficult match than Betis. If the players don't rest, there may be a problem. You could see Yamal's lack of freshness. When he passed the opponent, the last pass was missing. Lewandowski didn't get anything to do with. No long-range shots, they tried to drive the ball into the goal. I hope they rest by Wednesday because now is the most important part of the season.

Yea that too, but sometimes we have to just get credit to the opposition instead of finding ways to blame the players.

They defended well
Fair point but what I see up here its an attempt to deflect the ominious problem. This is less about blaming anyone but critically analysing the issues rather thn bury your head in the sand.

Athletico defended better in their 4-2 loss at Metropolitano. Barca were just more clinical with 4 goals (out of 6 attempts) vs 1 goal( out of 8 attempts) vs Betis. A defence that allows you two more chances more than can not be said to better stats-wise.

For me, difference is more about conversion rate that colours the result at the end of the day. Get your part of the job done and it wouldn't matter if your opponent was hercules, he would be looked at as a failure. If you got about 10 clear chances with more than 50% of being a goal and you converted none, the problem is not that you faced the 2006 Italian team level of defenders or a Baresi/Costarcuta/Maldini level of defenders, it was just that you were inefficient. Simple. Dont colour it otherwise.

Very well-organized defense by Betis. Very few gaps to exploit. And Barca's passing near the box simply isn't precise enough.

Barca should have attempt more driving penetrating runs earlier in the game. Too much passing the ball around waiting for openings when there weren't any. Draw fouls around the box and might even draw penalties.

Not mad about the draw. We're 4 points clear after an Atletico match 3 days ago. I'm being more pragmatic than perfectionist.
I agree, it was bound to happen anyways. 4 matches in 9 days is extremely unhealthy but a 4 point lead over Real Madrid is still insanely good.

Marc Bartra literally had the game of his career, WOW! Usually for a match like this I would beat up on our squad or on mistakes, but credit where credit is due: Betis played really well. Bartra in particular had a career game.
