Celta just lost unexpectedly at home against Espanyol. They are still very much alive in fight for European spots so don't expect an easy match.

Hopefully it is not as bad as the last time we played against them, I remember it was after the 2 5-0s and I believed we were gonna play like how we are playing now, just for us to drop a stinker with Frenkie getting injured and Cancelo scoring the winning goal

When is Danish Maldini coming back, he came back from injury but no game in sight. Does anyone know when Flick will play him, we desperately need him for rotations

Plenty to rotate in midfield with Olmo back.

Biggest issue now is not Martin plugging that LB spot. It's the off form/fatigue of key players that carried us this season :lamine: :raphinha:

If Flick planned for Lamine to manage his efforts during matches instead of benching him from time to time (which was implied) - it failed.

Just sit out against Celta and then let Raphinha do as well against Mallorca.

Why is the schedule so damn congested. A week between two games would have been great to rest and reset.

Copa final could've been played before last matchday, that's when we have full week's rest.

These two upcoming games should be similar to Osasuna/Girona with rotations in both games. Also important to get Olmo going slowly. Eric and Ferran should get big roles, as should Gavi and Fermin. Those 4 players can cover for all players except the FBs. Just do it smartly like we did previously in those double home games.

Kounde, Araujo, Inigo, Martin
Pedri, Eric
Yamal, Fermin, Gavi
Ferran

Kounde, Eric, Cubarsi, Martin
Frenkie, Pedri
Ferran, Fermin/Olmo, Raphinha
Lewy

Something like that should be enough to win both games.

No player except Tek should play 180 minutes in these two matches.

I would start without Yamal from the beginning in both matches. Bring him on if we have problems but knowing Flick he'll play 90 min in both.

Rapha should sit in this one. Fort needs to start, so he gets some game time in case we need him vs Inter.
