Trophies is a double edged sword - sometimes a trophy is better not won. Example, the treble in 2014-15. Had we not won the treble, we won't have re-elected the crook for our president and wouldn't have been pushed so deep into the debt mire! Not only have we become a laughing stock and ruined the chances of making the most of having the best player of all time at our dispoal after that but there's probably no going back at all.
