Felix was never as bad for Atletico as made out. Like Griezmann for us the price tag weighed him down.

But his output was very solid and had some amazing performances/form for them.

Balde and Kounde have been terrible in defense. Kounde needs to up his level or he is gonna be a good candidate for a sale in the summer.

He has been our best defender this season so far

Laporta deserves big credit for how he has built such a good squad with little funds.
The squad is one of the best in Europe on a tight budget.

Cancelo and Felix being loans bitters the pill but if we could get them in for 40m each or so permanently it would be great.

Its the strategy that we should continue using.

Spend on young players with high potential and sign older players for free.

Dont ever spend 100+ million again.

Decent half overall with a couple of great moments. Problems in defense with blunders. Gifted Betis three chances with individual screw-ups by Kounde, Balde and Romeu.

Not first time he fails to deal with balls in the air. Balde the same.

Also Kounde passing been ropey as is too often also.

Defends box well though.

Betis are shite. A whos who of failed Barca and EPL players.

I somewhat agree with you. Kounde looks shakey at times but people will argue he lacks support. Balde also hasnt had a standout game for a while but think this game is one in the right direction.

Normally Transplant gives you average hair but MATS literally looks like a dude who has amazing hair genetics. The volume looks amazing.

Due to our pull, the best free agents will always be available to us, usually there are a few world class players in free agency in the summer and we can always get one.

Like you said, perfect to use those to fill a spot for a couple years whilst our big potential we spent on develops in the sideline.
