Will be called a fanboy for this but imo he's one of those players who can cope with consistent 90 mins even when the games are frequent.

Think he can manage. He has a good relationship with Xavi and will let him know when it gets too much.

Yeah probably, and CF + CB not as demanding as other positions. Think the rest part is rather to lower the risk of injury rather than keeping him fresh. But it's an unusual schedule we have currently with 2 days rest between the games.

Allows Gundogan to then play the DM with Gavi beside him to the left in that B2B role.

Realisitcally more likely to be Romeu DM/Gundo higher up and Raph on the right.
