Season over in October. We've had 3 actual challenges this season so far - Bayern, Inter and Real Madrid and we failed ALL OF THEM. We can keep beating the mediocre mid-table teams all we want but the fact is that as soon as we face any sort of quality, we crumble. The mentality of the squad, and even the entire club has been decimated by the failures of recent years and it bleeds through to even the youngsters coming into the main team.
It's absolutely hopeless and will be for the rest of our lives. Doesn't matter who the coach is, who the players are - we are not winning a single trophy any time soon.

I will never get over the dissonance between the GOAT mentality we show in 15, 20 or 30 mins of games in the CL knockouts vs Clasicos where we pretend Messi is still in his prime and ready to pounce.
Barca are lucky we have no coach that prioritises intensity. This would have been embarrassing if not for Madrid getting in their own way.

We are favorites now, but its far from over, this world cup that should never have been given is going to derail the season, who knows what shape everyone is in coming back from it?

We will crumble for a month now. We are mentally shit.
We will have hard time winning any match now.
Oh you know exactly how it's gonna go. We'll have another 6-7 players injured, you guys will keep winning and we'll keep losing. It's how it's meant to be. We are the club of losers now.
And we aren't going to suffer any injuries, or fatigue in this world cup?

True. This should have been a beatdown in RM's favor. Already sort of was, but not a proper one.
Yeah you might, but you will still push through and get wins. Your team excels when the odds are against them, we fall apart instantly.

If Madrid actually put some effort 8n the second half the could have scored a couple more. Madrid are just happy playing within themselves and get the result.

Was a very good quality game of football from RM who realised their plan to the T. It's only that they have a manager who thinks this team is ready to blow every lead every second and gets scared of staying on front foot with old midfielders. Could have still played like this longer in first half, but chose to sit back and let Garcia and Kounde play their awful passes ahead of the block
