Osasuna (next Real opponent) leading at Anoeta.
Goal by Kenan Kodro (son of former Barca striker).

Can they do us a solid next weekend?

Would be nice if their game against Celta wasn't played when Madrid has already secured the league.

Certainly. For now it's great they won't play this game now since Celta would prioritize CdR. Ideally Barca won't lose any points till their confrontation and rm will slip.

Anyone watching Granada vs Las Palmas?

Jese came on and missed an open goal after one minute in the game.

Alen and Samper are still on the bench.

If we win, we'll be top of the league before Madrid plays.

They've played better recently so there is a hope. But we shoud do our job first and win at Mendizorroza which won't be easy. Hopefully they'll still have hangover after their Copa win yesterday.

Talking about Alaves, they renewed contracts of GK Fernando Pacheco and CB Victor Laguardia until 2020. They don't have a lot of own players so no surprise they wanted to keep two of the best they have.

Also, Yeray Alvarez has signed a new contract with Bilbao until 2022. His release clause will now be set at 30M€. Great reward for him after what he has gone through over the last two months.

I'm really impressed with Mauricio Pellegrino. He was such a bad defender for us though

Although all our first team is available this weekend I expect crazy rotations again for the upcoming game against PSG.

Yes, he's doing great so far.

I was skeptical about Alaves before the season because they've basically changed their whole team and signed a lot of players on loan deals so I thought they'd need around half of the season to gel together. But they've found real gems in players like Theo Hernandez and Marcos Llorente and other solid players like Camarasa, Deyverson, Feddal,...

And I also had my doubts about Pellegrino because he wasn't really impressive as a coach at Valencia. But based on what other coaches since Emery (with exception of Valverde who took over after Pellegrino) have done for them that's probably not entirely his fault.

I wonder what they'll do in summer if they qualify for Europa league. They'll most likely again make a lot of changes in their team but they could get better players on loan (and maybe sign some) if they'll play in Europe. I forgot about the rules. Are they already qualified for EL even if they don't win CDR final or will that spot go to 7th placed team in La Liga?

Yes, it's very likely Lucho will go crazy again but hopefully not, it's better to use Leganes game at home next week for more rotations before we'll go to Calderon. It's true that we'll finally have a full week of rest between those two games though.
