You think Celta will beat Madrid after such a long season in the last game where the result also doesnt matter for them?

The only hope is they draw vs Sevilla then again somehow vs Malaga/Celta. That's it. The Sevilla game will be decisive.

True, but somehow I believe they could slip once not twice. And that one time needs to be a loss not a draw. Just mey feeling.

Depends on their sentiment towards Real(maybe a lot of Messi fans on the team XD) and how many days there are between their league game and europa league game. If they have enough, I am sure they will give it their best. Also, pressure on a team can also work against them. Maybe they will play better with less pressure.

Although unlikely, a situation like 2015 could occur again where they crashed out of the CL and the league over the span of a week.

Unlikely being the key word there, but it has happened before. One can only hope.

There might still be some hope as Sevilla look to have regained some form after their CL exit. Leading away to Malaga right now and playing quite well so far.

Here is Celta schedule for the next two weeks...

So they'll have a week between Manchester and RM games. I won't have my hopes up because RM will have a lot more to play in this game than Celta but based on Berizzo's rotation strategy so far I think it's quite likely they'll at least play with their best XI against RM. Europa League final is on 24th so they would again have a full week to prepare for if they can go past United. And if they do that then they could use RM match as some kind of preparation for EL final too.

Isnt 3rd place pretty much gone for Sevilla now? Their 4th place should be safe.

Looking at the standings, a defeat for Sevilla on Friday against Sociedad (which is not that unlikely) and a victory for Athletic in Alaves will make the difference between the two sides just three points (with Athletic having the better h2h) in which case Sevilla will travel to Bernabeu with a really big fear of losing their fourth spot just before the last rounds.

On a bad note however, a defeat for Sevilla on Friday will give great chances for the CL spot for Villarreal as well, so they will be highly motivated on Saturday against us.

Sevilla have problem with the motivation against weaker teams. That won't be the case against Real Madrid, there is already a rivalry going on between the two teams this season. Another fact is Sevilla have not won a single point at BernaLEO since 7 December 2008, almost a decade.

Real could barely beat Valencia and they have conceded goals in every league game since February. Nothing suggests that Malaga, Celta and Sevilla couldnt take points from them

Celta has nothing to play for... except honour... after ManUtd games they will be either down (knocked out) or concentrated on final (less likely after yesterday)... so... Sevilla is biggest hope. 2 draws won't happen. I don't mind them though :p
