To be fair to them, Rayo Vallecano had a 2-1 at Bernabeu until they were 2 man down.

Exactly, these kind of teams always find a way to shoot themselves in the foot, despite playing some good football. Same thing happened to Las Palmas against Real last year IIRC. They equilise and get beaten in the last minute from a fucking corner. Their keeper passed two or three times straight to a RM player in this first half, luckily they didn't concede, as RM is having a poor-ish game. They try to play like Barcelona with a team full of ambitious, but rather average players. Nice, and worthy of praise. It pleases the eye for sure at times. Not sure how smart it is though.

 It's like they heard me. But then, Rayo were leading 2-1 on Bernabeu and ended up beaten 10-2. :D In 30 mins. Las Palmas gave the ball away in dangerous ares at least 4 times. Luckly, Real Madrid did not score. But do that again and they will, eventually.

to be honest, i expect real to win, dont no why, las palmas is playing nice but to much space for ronaldo and bale and that is very bad for them, they cant score how much they can concede with that kind of gameplay, and this real team under zidane, i did not see any match under him to say wow they are playing some nice football, its crap, like some italian team

Instead of Raki? Seriously?

Rather instead of Iniesta, part time now, and full time a year or two from now. You want a DM, a good passer and a well rounded midfielder in a midfield 3. Rakitic is not a passer, but is well rounded enough to surprise you (as Juventus found out in the CL final of all games). Kroos and Rakitic can play at the same time without any problems.

The time to sign him was back when we signed Raki. No way we could've rotated him and Iniesta that long.

two another type of players, kroos is more attacking player, rakitic box to box player, for me there is no doubt that barca did better pick choosing ivan over kroos.

I know. The only time we could've signed him was back when it was him or Raki, which is why I made the comparison.

With work, it could have worked. It's what you have to do in order to keep the squad fresh. Signing a Bayern starter on a free transfer is not something you should pass imo. I would've taken Kroos in a hartbeat. We would have had 4 world class midfielders for three spots. There are ways in which you can implement a player of Kroos' quality. Even playing 442 or even putting Iniesta as a LW in some games. It can work. Real is keeping 80m. James on the sideline for about a year now. It can be done with work. Check Arda now, a player who could play as a starter in a top team with ease.

I disagree. Having 3 stable first picks in midfield has been our style for years, and someone like Kroos and Iniesta deserve to play whenever possible.

Besides, I doubt that James is overjoyed with his current situation, to say the least.

OK, I respect that. Disagree also. Who knows, if we had Kroos maybe we would've made the CL double, since all of our midfielders were burnt out when we were knocked out by Madrid. In that instance, having only 3 top midfielders and playing them all the time wasn't that great, was it? When there are opportunities like signing Kroos you have to take them. If it doesn't work, you sell him and still make a profit. You surely don't let Madrid take him on a free.

Las Palmas outplayed Real Madrid last season, but they're quite unlucky for not having a proper clinical striker...

As for Las Palmas playing style with Quique Setién in charge, they've were from relegation zone to actually being a contester for top 10.

The likes of Momo, Jonathan Vieira, Mesa etc are from average players for example. Their players are underrated, if anything.

I wouldn't be too surprised if they ends up with 7th place or higher because they're that good.
