Lautaro Martinez

Yeah, he had a bad game and yeah, it was a final, but that hardly tells the whole story... It's like saying De Jong is awesome because he scored twice today and been shit the rest of the season...

One thing is clear, though, he was never worth the 100+ million, probably around the 40 million mark...

the other 20 or so games tell the story just fine, the outlier here is the Shaktar game. Agree id be willing to pay 40m for him.

Definitely not worth the current market value and hype.
I guess things are different now since the football world is suffering an extreme lack of future talents unprecedentedly.
This guy would have been a mid/low table team level of player if he emerged ~20 years ago.

He was benched for Alexis Sanchez.

In 25 games he scored 2 or 3 tap ins.

Hard pass , but I except retard Bartomeu to make his final stupid move

Man City is also intrested in him.

No offense to anyone, but Pep is the only coach out of top clubs who would want Lautaro and his profile.

Check the profile of Pep's attackers lately:
Jesus, short, moves a lot, works hard, can't score
Sterling, short, moves a lot, works hard, can't score
Lautaro, short, moves a lot, works hard, can't score

If Pep buys him, they will dominate but they won't score.
And our fans will say: poor Pep, his team dominated but they lost again due to a poor finishing.

Well, because he is trading finishing for movement/eye test domination.

Our board probably want Lautaro because Pep wants him.

Let Pep enjoys Lautaro and his movement, we don't need him.

Koulibaly is off to City for 70m. 70m under this pandemic for a cb!!!! Pep the only coach who can request that after spending a shit ton on defenders each year.
There is no way he can ask for another 90+m attacker.

I actually don't think they're that interested, especially at the prices quoted lol. If they buy him for 100m it would be a huge surprise to me and id laugh my ass off because he not something they need, totally with BBZ on this one.

Lautaro Martinez’s signing remains a priority for Barcelona — it is still on top of the list to cover Luis Suarez's possible departure.

Lautaro Martinez will not arrive until Luis Suarez leaves the club - this is the scenario that Barcelona and Koeman want.

These smooth brains running the club are taking it to next level. Barto just said a couple of days ago that Barca invested badly , yet here are the rumours regarding Lautaro ramping up. These rumours seems like an obvious play to get rid of Suarez aswell.

Guardiola's Manchester City plans to pay 90 million for Lautaro.

The English team is trying to overtake Barcelona in the bid for Inter's Argentine forward.

Guardiola sees him as a replacement for Aguero.

Please City. Do it.

Barto, Abidal and random Mundo Deportivo reporters who support Lautaro's signing, you all need to be fired.

These signings are dumber than Gaspart's signings when we sold Figo.

I would like to know who is that person who is supporting Lautaro's signing.

The only reasons why they are after him are:
1. they watched him only once. Against Barca at Camp Nou
2. they are buying him because he is Argentinian and they are hoping that he will turn into next Crespo, Batistuta, Tevez or Aguero. Which he won't because he sucks.
3. Messi wants to play with him.
We don't care. Messi is 33 and almost finished. We ain't winning any titles soon with or without Messi and especially Lautaro
4. they want him because Pep wants him and they want to build a weaker copy of Pep's mobile yet sterile team

This reminds me on that summer when we wanted Dybala.
Only because he is Argentinian, young, 100m price tag and potentially a big name to silence the fans.
