Claudio Ranieri's career achievements are maybe not than incredible. But coaches like Guardiola, van Gaal and Mourinho didn't achieve a lot in their players career either. I'm very excited to see what Claudio can do in the Champions League.

Leicester City have agreed a new contract with England striker Jamie Vardy.

Arsenal had wanted to sign the 29-year-old and had met a release clause - reported to be £20m.

The Foxes responded with an offer said to be worth £100,000.

A club statement read: "Leicester City have today agreed with the representatives of Jamie Vardy to extend the England international’s contract with the Premier League champions for a further four years.

"Both parties hope that this announcement will end recent speculation regarding Jamie’s future and confirm his long-term commitment to Leicester City Football Club.
