Xavi - behind La Masia, Van Gaal, Pep, Enrique.
Yes, there are complaints about him, but the person, at least, has a good theoretical basis. He has had several interviews before joining Barcelona and it is clear that he understands football well at a tactical level. The practical part is lame, and for a moment I had the feeling that he was just a good theorist.

But with Flick, nothing is clear.

Let's take his full season in 2021-2022.

Yes, there was a history of injuries, but Xavi had similar problems this season.

So, first place in the championship. 34 games, 24 wins, 6 draws, 4 losses.

99 goals scored, 44 missed.

Let's take a look at more advanced numbers.

xG - 76
xGa - 39
xPTS - 67

These are the numbers from the understat site, you can refer to the more accurate fbref resource, but the numbers are not much different.
Let's take a look at the TOP 6.

Yes, xG statics are not a panacea, for example, you can create a very dangerous moment that will not end with a shot, or your goal may have a similar situation, but at the moment this statistics is the best we have. Yes, it would be better if someone sat down and analyzed each match and then looked at such statistics, but none of us will do that now.

And so, these are Bayern's statistics for the 2020-2021 season, when Flick was at the helm of the team as head coach.

Now we look at our shitty season in La Liga, where the level of opposition is definitely not lower, but even higher.

*** When assessing xG and xGa, keep in mind that La Liga has 4 more rounds than the Bundesliga.

This is what I was talking about using advanced statistics. Guys, you shouldn't have high expectations. Flick is a black box.

I can't pretend to know how good a manager Flick actually is, but something I have been wanting for so long is to see our wingers released from the sideline, which I'm guessing would be his first order of business.

I want to see Yamal drift inside and I also think players like Pedri and Lewa could come alive with more dynamic combinations.

As much as it sounds exciting.
Frankly, we simply have no players that can do what he implemented in Bayern. Our midfield of Pedri, FdJ, and Gundo is slow, with Pedri gassing out very early into the game. Lewa is in his last leg and half the player he was when playing for him. And god help us playing high on the pitch with Araujo at the back, he will be getting more red in a season that Pepe got in his whole stint for RM. Oh and we have Mats, lol
Ya, our flanks are good, which he can work with, but we will have to see how he adapts.

If Xavi does leave,I hope whichever coach replaces him, doesn't ignore masia, while I want to pump the breaks a little on yamal, cubarsi and the likes,we still need to create a same for them to develop.

Player 4 has joined the game. Whoever the fuck that is.

Some people close to Laporta think he might change his mind and KEEP Xavi! Deco speaks to Xavi every day to plan next season. @Luis_F_Rojo

There is NO agreement with Flick, despite earlier reports. There was not even a meeting in London, although Deco did have a call with the German manager. Luis_F_Rojo

Comment from a Bayern fan under the news of Flick's appointment.

As a Bayern fan, I will say that Flick is overrated and is not worth putting him in place of the already adapted Xavi. The man (Xavi) took the championship in the first season (full season) with all the problems, in the second he took the same number of points as in the championship year, and reached the Champions League playoffs, where he lost due to deletion. A man builds a team and gets fired halfway through for the sake of dubious success with a coach who took the treble in half a season on moral and strong-willed grounds.

Everyone only remembers the trophies, but they don’t remember the game. We had problems in the quarter-finals against Lyon, PSG just didn't score their chances in the final. The next year is indicative, where we we lost against a weak team in the cup and lost vs PSG in the champions league.. I don’t know what they expect at Barca if he left Bayern due to disagreements over transfers. There is no money at Barca, will he be ready to accept the fact that they give him an old striker as a starter?

Watch a film about the German national team under Flick, it can tell you a lot.
Thanks to him for the treble, of course, but as a coach, I think he is overrated and the German national team showed this in particular. But if everything works out for him, I’ll be happy.

You can simply take a dry comparison of Bayern's two seasons, one of which is considered a failure, and the second is considered ordinary with success in the form of the Bundesliga.
Comparing the full seasons of Tuchel and Flick - Tuchel has 72 points, 94 goals scored, 45 conceded (we take into account that defenders are always injured), 3rd place. Flick has 78 points, 99 goals scored, 44 missed, 1st place.
What do we have? If Bayer Leverkusen had played in Flick's season as well, we would have been in second place. The result, as you can see, is almost identical. But everyone thinks that Tuchel is a failure, and Flick created a super team.
Exactly the same loss against a weak team in the Cup, only Flick was eliminated from the Champions League earlier, and not in 1/2 in the last minute.

Another bad thing with Flick coming is that Lewy 100% stays.
Lewy will stay no matter who's the coach to milk us as some idiot gave him that contract

The thing I am most sure it will NOT happen is that Lewa will be undisputed starter under Flick, as he is under Xavi.
Flick wants everyone in his team to press like mad dogs, and doesn't accept ghostwalkers in the team

@ReshadFCB
One thing which Hansi Flick considers key is physical work, something which hasn’t traditionally been a priority at Barça. He wants his players to be like motorbikes so they can completely press and drown their opponents.

No no. I can give you a link to this post on the most famous sports website. I just made a translation.

I read what Bayern fans write because I didn’t follow Bayern much during the covid period. I only have advanced statistics and I need more information from Bayern fans who understand football.
