Our back 4 has been run into the ground. Digne isn't a player we need every 3 days and Masche needs rest here and there too. I fear we will get over run in a the hot Sevilla environment. Should be a barn burner.

I just don't get it. Why would he chose Denis over Gomes today and according to Sport he will do that.

Gomes was our only good player against City and he needs playing time to adapt. First game he plays well and he is benched in the next one. And he is fore sure not tired!

You can not expect of a player to perform and adapt with non stop rotating and changing. Clear pecking order should exist, this is just stupid!

Gomes was good vs City [90% passing success out of 45 p. / 3 clearances + 1 save / 2 shots (1 off-target, 1 hit the top-bar) / 1 aerial won]. On the - , out of 4 attempted tackles, he lost 3 and got dribbled once ... keeping Denis on the bench would be unfair though as he's been pretty good overall. Lucho could use them both for each game, one subbing the other at half-time in an alternate starters scheme. This way, they both get regular field-time + they'd get to exert themselves at 100% for 45 min.

Isn't Arda still injured? If so, Rafi could take his place. I'm liking your formation except I would put Denis or Raki as short-stop/sweepers behind Busi . Busi's just been too slow on his feet this season. His vision and passing accuracy would best be put to use further up the field

Imo. both Gomes and Denis have been underwhelming but, hey, everyone sees from their pov.

Rafinha, while looking uncomfortable in midfield as other two, was at least effective.

Rafi's so versatile and he's got talent up the yin yang  + the way he can instantly switch position with Messi in mid-play allows more freedom and helps confusing the defense. These mid-play position changes also make for cool Top Gun style dog fight football

hoping for a best, team must step up, i think defeat vs city was good before this match, team will give more effort to win this one, even draw is not bad considering how good is this sevilla side at home

I don't give a shit even if Sevilla is a brilliant side at home, a draw is still bad for us.

We must make the gap to Real Madrid smaller.

After all, they're in 1st place with 5 points ahead of us atm.
