Who are you talking about? It's Balde's second season, Gavi's third but he's looking very good. Pedri is injured

Balde is bad so far. Defensively abysmal. Pedri still lives from his Euro 2-3 years ago. His World Cup last season has been shit. And so on. Ansu... let's see these two new names.

All showed amazing stuff initially and could not sustain it.

Gavi has improved this season and Pedri was class in his 2nd as was Araujo and others.

Desperate to make out players are worse than others think as per usual.

I think it has to do with this:

Young player proves himself in debut. -> pressure is taken off and public becomes forgiving if he makes mistakes. Then in 2nd season young player feels pressure to develop his game and encounters trouble doing so.

Take out the threat on wing, put in a DM who is slow and immobile and mediocre on the ball = Sevilla knowing they don't have to defend at all and go into full attack without us being able to control or stop it. Another misreading of the game by Xavi.
