Whole league is a travesty tbh. Only league on earth where the champions can face relegation next season.
Juve says hello

Whole league is a travesty tbh. Only league on earth where the champions can face relegation in 2 years.
Ligue 1 2016/17 Monaco - Champions
Ligue 1 2017/18 Monaco - 2nd place
Ligue 1 2018/19 Monaco - 17th place, barely escaping relegation by a nose.
That shows how competitive the league is
More like it shows how poor the top teams are. Success is followed by a massive sellout.
It's as if Getafe somehow has a great season. You just know that a massive sale is happening next.
Because football is not profitable for competitive teams. You barely get anything in return for your investment unlike being a feeder, the difference between the two is actually very huge.I wonder why football has so few competitive teams. Only 10 teams in the world really try to win everything or are ambitious enough. Of course, the money is on the top and it's tough to compete against those teams, but you have to at least TRY!!
For example, the biggest disgrace is Dortmund. They have all the possibilities to become the top team but are happy to be a feeder club in the end. It's a travesty.
Of course, sometimes you have to be in this position if finances are like that. That can happen to anyone obviously.

It is actually very very expensive to sustain a competitive team. I do not even believe you make any profit in football. Now you wonder where the 100s of millions go to at BVBYou might lose money every year for your operations but build bigger fortune with team value.
No longer a top 5 league. Surpassed by Portugal
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_coefficient#Current_ranking
UEFA's coefficient is the yardstick for points weighting and the idea behind it is to reward players who score goals in leagues that are considered to be of a higher standard - thus more difficult to score in.
Goals scored in the continent's top five leagues being multiplied by a factor of two, those scored in the leagues six to 21 are multiplied by a factor of 1.5 and the remaining leagues by a factor of one.
Better score 15 goals against Dijon Mustard if you want to win that European golden shoe.
