Top of the table at least until tomorrow!

Hopefully M'Villa and company will be able to frustrate Montpelier (huge credit to them for their season so far - wonderful football)

Montpellier :worthy:

Yes! And they spent 0 on transfers last summer.
I guess spending 100 million Euros like PSG can't buy you titles after all. Screw them and their oil owners. And how the hell does Platini still allow that spending. He goes on and on about banning clubs spending so much more than they make.

Although it'll still be hard for Montpellier. They play Lille who still mathematically can be Champions and then Auxerre who are fighting for survival.

You don't want Montpellier to win the league!?

EH,,,,,,noooooo. Did my post make you believe that?

But full credit to them if they do because they have played wonderful football throughout the season while PSG have choked too often under Carlo.

But ultimately trophies (I hope so) will be won and PSG have a huge potential as the rest of Ligue 1, which financially is a very, very solid league - only the Bundesliga is better in that department.

Also both leagues are quite similar in terms of how close most clubs are and how often a new different winner is crowned if we look apart from Lyon's 7 year dominance. (before Lyon's dominance and after there was nearly always a new winner every season)

Stoppage time winner for Montpellier! Now they just need a point in the last round vs. Auxerre.

Wow so many stoppage time deciders yesterday. I thought PSG has a fair chance of winning the title when I checked out the Montpellier match and it was still 0-0 heading to the injury time. I don't think they bottle it next week. The title is theirs, almost.

Olivier Giroud has been nothing short of stellar for Montpellier all season. Hopefully he get's the call up from France this summer at Euro '12.
