Ligue 1

This league is more fun to watch than Bundesliga and La Liga because it is so exiting who will win it in the end. Still think PSG will get themselves up but Lyon and Marseille can surprise.

Is this an attempt to teach us the definition of "irony"?

If Lyon win, they will go 4p up at the top. Marseille lost 2-1 to Nice yesterday and Lyon plays Metz at home, so logically they will beat them.

and scored how much ? 6, 7 ? good times in the L1

Last round ( or next to last? ) saw an average of 1 goal/game. Glorious.

@barcadub i was deliberately exaggerating maybe that wasn't clear. I think Monaco has the resources to play a complete game once in a while, and if not they have already been lucky this season especially in the CL, so anything can happen, though I doubt they will score more than two goals over the two legs.

As Dub pointed out, 17 goals over that span isn't too shabby. Monaco isn't there just yet, but they're well on their way to sustained prominence and are certainly playing well enough to knock off Arsenal imo. Ligue 1 is generally looked down upon, but they're a few more competent investors away from being one of the better leagues in Europe. They merely require the resources to convince French youth to stay home.

Marseille's Mario Lemina sent off for this.

I don't know, probably the end of month... Lyon is very strong with Fekir, Gonalons particulary without Lacazette...

If PSG and Monaco both manage to move forward in the CL against top EPL sides I'll be very pleased. I'll have even more confidence next season in Ligue 1's success in the competition with Lyon and Marseille looking to qualify.
