Lionel Messi - v7

Oh really?
The decline has been noticable, yes we have been better defensively, but we also scored a lot less once he left, we also lost our fear factor in the CL.

Also, our effort in replacing our veterans is just as slow as yours, probably worse, actually.

We are still lining up Kroos - Casemiro - Modric in most games, Benzema is apparently undroppable, and Marcelo is still here.

You didn't even read what's been said. The discussion was about Madrid losing a considerable part of their financial power when Ronaldo left. Which hasn't happened.

If Aguero can do it, why can't he? You can totally suceed as a short no. 9. I don't get it. He has the intelligence, the technique, and the acceleration. What's the issue? is it the midfield?

The fear factor is one of the most underrated things in football. In 17/18 Real often played bad (especially at home) but with CR7 the oppenents had always feared Madrid. SInce he left, the fear has gone and the oppenents are playing with more bravery. Barca lost it after the defeat in Roma. Liverpool has it in Anfield.

It was not a great season, we had many bad performances, but we still had a high top level, and could pull of a great result out of no where(and we still scored a lot more than we did after).

Will the "hit the post" curse continue second half? It might be a good idea to sub him out for energy, buy he needs the confidence of a goal too. He has been too unlucky.
