Lionel Messi - v7

:lol: Homovolio strikes again. It's like clockwork. You resorting to these slurs.

The strength of Barca and Messi's own amazing level of production papered over Messi's weaknesses and flaws in our golden time. The past 3-4 years he has not lived up to the standard of a 100 M player and the talisman outside of 2018-2019. His weaknesses have come to prominence and actually gotten worse as his strengths waned. These are just facts. Now go cartwheel more for a guy who doesn't even care about your existence.

You on some wild halucinogene mushrooms, boy.

He would have got that at another club anyway. Don't know why you care so much about finances, it's not as if you put money into the club.

100M on or off the books wouldn't have helped us. We throwed money on countless expensive duds.

The last 3-4 years we won enough with the squad we had. With a little bit of luck we could have won 1 CL. But that's life, stop crying like a bitch and enjoy what we have.

All bandwagon fans and haters only care about 2-3 CL games. Disregarding the fact that overall we just came off a decade of dominance.

I would have to disagree with the underlined part.

I would say only from the beginning of 2020, he has not looked like a 100M player.

I guess 2017-2018 is debatable. He was very good in the league but I was very disappointed by him v Roma. It was a matter of effort, not ability. He destroyed Chelsea in the R of 16 and then mysteriously took a back seat v Roma (I never understood how he can be so moody) which cost us a berth in the SFs/maybe final.

And then 2019-2020 was a disappointment as a whole.

The money spent on Griezmann, Coutinho, Dembele, and other mediocrity will haunt the club forever. 100M for Messi is nothing compared to the ROI of those players

100 M on Messi breaks up the wage structure and tells the world we're cucks to players. Have you considered that possibility?

It's also why Juve are rotting with CR7 and his 70 M wages.

Messi was basically free and gave us 16 years. Real and Juve payed for CR7 + his wages and didn't get the same return. Stop making stupid comparisons. Us getting Messi for free was the greatest deal in history. Wages were a non-factor considering the success we had with him.

Real and Juve is a stupid comparison too.
Ronaldo to Real was the best transfer ever, considering how insane prices got in the years after, and how much we got out of that deal.

I was referring to his Juve comparison. Of course Real got a great deal. Still not better than us getting Messi for free.

 We've paid him like 500-600 M so far. He's given us 600 + goals. I'd say both parties benefited plenty. but of course, a fanboy like you will foam at the mouth calling it the greatest deal ever like Messi did charity work for us.

Xavi and Iniesta were paid far less and they were immense contributors to our success too.

It is hilarious watching you just totally contradict yourself depending on who you are trying to criticize. You said Valverde was a bum who got carried by Messi and now you are saying that Messi hasn?t been earning his wage for the last few years and that all his weaknesses became more apparent.

So you have no problem sucking off Messi when you want to undermine what Valverde achieved and then you will turn around and downplay what Messi has done over recent years when you?re trying to win a different argument.

I already called his 2018-2019 season great. Where he carried EV in the league + CL, who is a bum out of job offers.

And look below,

I guess 2017-2018 is debatable. He was very good in the league but I was very disappointed by him v Roma. It was a matter of effort, not ability. He destroyed Chelsea in the R of 16 and then mysteriously took a back seat v Roma (I never understood how he can be so moody) which cost us a berth in the SFs/maybe final.

Messi's 2017-2018 is a debatable one. I don't think it was all that great because of Roma but you can think otherwise.

Now tell me where I'm inconsistent, clown.

He didn't do charity work you muppet. He was payed fairly, that's all.
You on the other hand try to spin it off like Barcelona got robbed by the Messi clan and he was just a leech sucking money out of the club and not pulling his weight.

You seem incapable of reading.

"I'd say both parties benefited plenty." were my precise words.
