Anyways he's too isolated , as soon as the ball gets to him there's like 4 RM players around him. Koeman should change the lineup so that he has more options in attack.

Meh apart from that. Mostly because Madrid know he is the only guy they have to focus on but also quite a few un-Messi like technical mistakes unfortunately.

Other than pass to Alba and win a couple of free kicks did nothing. He tried but was beaten to the ball time and again.

Need more from him in these games than that.

Hit post, gave Alba that pass where he should have pulled it back for a second goal. Other than that he was just kind of there.

You can complain about his performances all you want, but when he doesn't turn up, we honestly have no chance of winning. He's the reason why he still had a chance of winning the league.

Even a shit Messi is by far our best attacker. I actually feel bad for him next season if he decides to stay. He's honestly going to have to carry the load when he's 34.

He played pretty well, but it is much easier for Real to defend when Messi is 90% of the attack, he needs the others to help him out.

This shit gets said every time Messi plays poorly.

It is used as a defence as if dont attack him as no one else can do it.. if not for poor defending, referee decision and width of cross bar that game changes.

Messi was poor and as best player and one team is built for that will have most impact.

I can't blame him. He tried.
And at 34 years old, you need more help from the team-mates, either in creating or in finishing. He needed a world-class striker to support his actions; because Madrid was too focused on him; always followed by 3 players.
