The most hyped up player who's team wins the CL will get the attention from the media, if Van Dijk does lose out tomorrow then he's extremely unlucky in the grand scheme of things, even if he doesn't deserve it ahead of Messi, it's just the way the idiot voting has gone, largely thanks to Real and Ronaldo.
