#7 would be nearly in the bag if Koeman hadn't bottled the title
True. Pretty annoying.

It will be the same problem as always though. Messi needs to create everything. A good team will put 3 players on him and close Argentina down easily.
Then everyone will scream how he doesnt perform for Argentina.
He doesnt have an eder to bail him out and get all the credit.
- A good win for Argentina, that will boost their confidence for the next games.
- Good game by Messi, with an assist and an interesting performance especially in the last 30 minutes. Looked sharp and in a good form, by his standards.
- Leo Celso plays pretty well in the midfield, i liked his performance. Smart and technical, compared to the classic argentina midfield.
- The keeper Emiliano Martinez is undoubtedly an interesting keeper. Though he wasn't tested at all against Uruguay, i can say.
- The new central defender Christian Romero looks promising and really good; while Otamendi is still a liability; makes weird mistakes in every game (as usual).
- Argentina is the only squad who can challenge Brazil. But for this to happen, they will need a better version of Lautaro. The striker hasn't still found his best form in this Copa America; and this because of some sloppy first-touches, some poor bad control that makes him lose the ball so often.
- At the left-back, Acuna is better than Tagliafico because he is more solid defensively. While at the right-back position, Molina is just average.
- Argentina's build-up should improve! They lose the ball so often when pressed (building from the back).
Good point about Lautaro. He was BAD.
I think they have enough quality to overcome that. It's Copa, not team competition. DiMaria, Aguero has enough quality to win this without MEssi scoring.
In Argentina they say that Messi won't accept the proposal Salary of 60M. Laporta is staying firm and won't go any higher
